I just received the following message from our hosting provider:

Due to the unforseen issues that we have encountered with our datacenter over the months of (September, October, and November) SpeedySparrow has decided it is now time to move it’s networks across the board in to a better setup with it’s Cloud Infrastructure. As of November 13th 2011, we have been migrating accounts one by one from the networks of DedicatedNOW to the networks of DediServe as part of a new change to reduce the amount of issues seen over the past few months.

As the new network change is underway I would like to announce that our newest datacenter for (shared, business, and reseller) customers will be based out of Dallas Texas. If you did choose SpeedySparrow based around it’s networking through New Jersey you may want to consider other alternatives at this time if New Jersey is the location to preference, we are sure that even if you do decide to stay it will be worth the while to be based out of the central US rather than one location to the east coast. Dallas Texas has great connections to it’s servers from right around the globe and should be a great addition to our services, as we slowly upgrade new networking locations such as the UK as well as Singapore will come in to place.

As this is a sudden move from our current datacenter to a new datacenter we will update you accordingly with the new information as it comes to light. Customer websites will be moved over accordingly and this will take another couple of days to fully complete as we also move over VPS Customers to the new network at the same time.

Due to the fact that SpeedySparrow has seen a lot of issues relating to the datacenter we currently reside in for our cloud network we’ve really had no choice but to do the best for current SpeedySparrow customers and we are sure this change will be done for the better. Nothing from the customers end needs to be edited or rectified as it will all fall in to place promptly and accurately.

Note: The email said over the “next couple of days”.  So within the next week, this site and forum should be hosted from a datacenter in Texas.  Hopefully this means stability and no more problems  I’m also hoping this does not affect the quick loading times we’ve experienced thus far and rather good server performance.  Feel free to point out problems in the coming days and weeks.
